Does anyone else feel this book was over-written and written too fast???
No. The ending maybe, after the writing on the alternate future starts, but in general the book was sheer awesome. Loved it.
I don't know about too fast, there certainly were some parts that I did feel it was overdone and, therefore, began to drag, e.g the sections where Jake/George was teaching in Jodie and the build up of his relationship with Sadie. On the whole though King managed to weave the multiple characters, incidents and situations into the plot in a pertinent way.
i would have really like for Jake/George to be able to settle down with Sadie in the past and not do anything else in the ending...as it was i felt an overwhelming sadness but i wasn't disappointed. I guess i wanted a fairy tale ending and i should know better than to look for one of those in a Stephen King book huh? Does anyone else like/dislike the ending?
Should i read this??? :S
No I thought the book was well researched and gave a lot of insight into Oswald and why he was who he was. Also, I loved the ending. T
I am too close to the event. I witnessed the JFK motorcade in San Antonio on 11/21/63.
