This was an excellent book, and I got a lot out of it on many levels. David Crowder's approach to writing is as refreshing as his appoach to music.

Not for the Christian faint-of-heart...but turns out, David Crowder can write just as good (if not better) than he can sing.

Changes your view on certain things--in a good way.

I love David Crowder, and I got this at a college praise and worship convention where he was preforming. I had really high hopes for this book but it was a little bit of a let down. It is funny and pretty easy to read but I didnt feel like a walked away with any profound tips for involving Christ in my everyday life like is promised on the cover.

We don't expect a book with serious spiritual insights to be funny, but this book made me laugh out loud -- and refreshed my spirit. It's a keeper.

I've posted a more detailed review on my blog: http://joannamallory.wordpress.com/2008/10/31/praise-habit-by-david-crowder/

Colter's pick. This is a great representation of praise and the Psalms. David is the lead singer of the the David Crowder*Band, based in Waco, Texas. He is the pastor of worship at University Baptist Church in Waco. I've had several opportunities to meet and talk with David and he knows the scriptures. He is quite the entertainer on stage and through his writings. I highly recommend this book! Purchase at Katy Budget Books

It felt like someone urged Crowder for 2 years to write a book and he finally gave in. Most of what is written seems like page filler. He definitely points out some good ways to "make lemonade from lemons" but all in all I was recommend you skip this book.
