“What an amazing story that drew me in from page 1. The heart of each character was laid out in each line. I found myself laughing and crying as the story played out. Dr. Kai Chang was separated from her sister when they were children. She has devoted her life to finding her younger sister. Many years later she finds her and the family who adopted her. Meeting them is a struggle within her soul, trying not to do or say anything that might alter her plans for Lily. There are many difficulties in meeting the family and seeing her sister for the first time. Lily has quite the mind of her own and it takes circumstances to bring her around. I would definitely recommend this book. I have read all of this author's books and love every one of them. I do think this one is the best. It appealed to me on many levels, and I found it to be a very satisfying read.”
