“The Holling Clancy Holling books are terrific books for unit studies. It is easy to find lesson plans online, or you can purchase a packet from several popular home school catalogs. The stories are enjoyable to read; the pictures are involved and pleasant. The books are designed to be informative , but they are still good stories. You will easily be able to come up with activities, maps, journaling, or any other options to compliment them if wish. Or just read and enjoy.”
