I thoroughly enjoyed Maxted's book. I found the plot to be refreshing. It relates to a lot of women of today.

I was a little disappointed with the end - I wanted about 1 more chapter. I felt the next to last chapter did not give the reader enough.

The book focuses on two sisters who are best friends, but they are torn apart for one reason - babies. You'll have to read the book to learn more.
