“I read the first half of this in high school and thought it was one of the best pieces of literature I'd ever seen. I read through it in its entirety recently and was not so impressed. I reads like someone dropped a few books and articles on the floor and then bent up to pick up random pages to piece a novel together. They make an interesting read, with a few very profound moments, but the main plot line lacks any closure at the end. The various pieces of story don't fit together in any obvious way and I didn't care about the characters in the end enough to dig deeper into the novel.”
