A fitting end to the beloved Narnia series. I appreciate the story of confusion that can ensue through false witnesses and well-laid plans of evil "people." I enjoyed the twist at the end, and while abrupt, feels like a wonderful conclusion to an amazing series.

A great book from one of my favorite series. This book was eye catching and I couldn't stop reading it. This author is a genius. From the story line to the cover. This book was amazing in every possible way a book can be. This book was a perfect end to the most amazing series in the world.

This book really shows you that just because a book is old doesn't mean it won't turn out to be one of your all time favorites!

The finale of The Last Battle is thus breathtakingly simple to understand thematically. Depending upon your own beliefs or lack thereof, that may or may not seem like wishful thinking and naive emotionalism. But people don't always look at the horrors of the world rationally, and fear is a fundamental emotion rooted in our innate survival instincts. Does religion exploit that fear? In my opinion, absolutely.

I read these one after another in rapid succession and enjoyed them, but didn't find them memorable.

Starts off rather confusing and removed from all familiarity, but eventually the book wraps up the series with an incredible triumph and beautiful imagery.

Engaging at times, but overall a dis-satisfying close to a wonderful series. Much more naive than any of the previous ones and awfully escapist in nature.
    Poor Susan.

This I read as well when I was younger, but I didn't get it 'cause I just read it and skipped some of the books. But I complete the chronicles, so I understood it.

Probably one of the best in the series.
