Kelsey Hayes pushes through the pain of lost love and strengthens her friendship with Kishan. Despite his strong feelings for her, Kishan has agreed to be her ally in helping her reunite with the man she still loves. Together, they seek to help Ren regain his memory and begin the search for the third magical gift—an object of power that will help break the curse that causes them to live part of their lives as tigers.

They board a luxury yacht and seek Durga's aid once again, who supplies them with her golden weapons. With Nilima, Mr. Kadam, Ren, and Kishan at her side, she soon learns that the task ahead will be even more difficult than the others. Confronting a dark magician, multiple dragons, and terrifying denizens of the deep seems easy when compared to facing the daunting task of stitching up her heart. Just when she thinks she's ready to set her feet on a new path, she is yanked back with a jolt to the one she's determined to leave behind.

The jarring tug-of-war that ensues for Kelsey's heart leaves her anxious and confused. Combined with the stress of almost being killed every other day, it would appear that saving the tigers is almost more than she can handle. Still, she presses on, knowing that a choice is looming on the horizon. One she cannot put off making for long.

  • Kelsey: Strong and courageous. Loves Ren but also has feelings for Kishan. She is the tigers one hope and love. Amazing character.
  • Ren: White Tiger. Indian prince who is over 300 years old due to a curse which forces him to shift into a tiger, set by Lokesh in the beginning of Tiger's Curse. Full title is "Prince and High Protector of the Mujalaain Empire. In love with Kelsey, but in last book lost his memories of her. Argues with Kishan about EVERYTHING.
  • Kishan: Black Tiger. Bold and daring. He also likes Kelsey. Very sweet in this book.
  • Mr.Kadam: Used to work for Ren and Kishan's parents but now he looks over the brothers. Has spent the past 300 years looking for a way to free them from the curse. Very nice intelligent man.
  • Nilima: Great-great-great-great granddaughter of Mr.Kadam. Works for him and knows the secret of the brothers. Flight attendant on Flying Tiger Airlines.
  • Durga: Goddess who helps the brothers and Kelsey. Has a pet tiger and a snake named Fanindra that she gave to Kelsey. Also gives them weapons to help them fight. Kept Ren alive when Lokesh was torturing him in Tiger's Quest.
  • Wes: Kelsey's old semi-boyfriend back in Oregon.
  • Phet: Ancient Monk
  • Randi: A crazy girl who "loves" Ren. And/or Kishan. Or pretty much any other handsome rich guy.
  • Fanindra: A golden snake that can animate and become inanimate. Most of the book she is a wrap around bracelet. She was given to Kelsey by the goddess Durga.
  • Lokesh: A wicked man/king from Ren and Kishan's past. Very powerful. He is trying to kidnap Kelsey for many reasons.
  • Jinsèlóng: One of the dragons.
  • Kells: Nickname for the main character Kelsey. She is trying to help the brothers break the curse.
  • Lóngj: One of the dragons.
