  • Bob and Peggy Beldon: Both retired and owners of a Bed and Breakfast (the Thyme and Tide).
  • Roy McAffee: A private investigator; a retiree from the Seattle police force; father of three adult children: Mark, Linnette and Gloria Ashton. Roy is married to Corrie.
  • Linnette: Daughter of Roy and Corrie, lived in Cedar Cove and worked in the medical clinic as a physical assistant but moved to North Dakota.
