This book is an interesting exploration of the needs of people in a modern culture (which still applies in a post-modern culture) and how Christians can minister to them. We won’t minister effectively by telling people that we have all the answers; we’ll minister effectively out of our woundedness and pain.”

But at the same time God spoke to me through it and applied it like a salve to my eyes. He used it to heal my blindness. He used it to heal deep places in my heart.”
