  “Ducky is a cute tale of a small rubber ducky who was tossed from his ship. This picture book has great pictures of construction papers cut outs. It is based on a real story of rubber toys being tossed in the ocean and being studied as part of a science study.
  Uses:
  This story could be used for teaching onomatopoeia
  This could also be used during science to show how large a study could become.
  This would be a great motivational story

  “Ducky is about plastic toys that get lost at sea. One of them Ducky floats for a long time then washes up on shore, is found and eventually fulfills its dream to be in a tub. Classroom connections-This really happened in 1992. This could segue into water channels and taking care of the environment.”
