this one is my "all-time favorite" book - the kind that you can read again and again and never get tired of. I love Judith McNaught's stories.

Didn’t Like It

Since this was McNaught's first novel, I kind of forgive her. It's okay, but not as good as I'd expected from all the reviews. It kind of gave me the feeling that McNaught did not want the story to ever end. Sometimes characters were inconsistent, and there were parts that seemed insignificant to me that she could have turned into, say, a foreshadowing. But again, this was her first book (at least that's what I've read somewhere), so I kind of forgive her. And Nicki really stole my heart. So,...
