Characters edit see section history

  • Niv Hi Evya of lam yondrefi: A 400 year old elf, still considered a young adult by elvish standards. He has lived a very sheltered life as an aristocratic of the elvish/human city of Yondor. Rebelling against the rules of court life, he studied both magic and warfare to seek adventure. While very much 'book' wise, he had have only a few previous excursions into the wilderness before this current adventure. Therefore Niv is still very much a green adventurer and in way over his head.
  • Jemry Kert: A 12 year old 'river rat' human man-child, dirt poor and an orphan of the streets, his only family had been his now demised father, who had only left Jemry one inheritance, a handful of skills, only useful for thievery. Or would be so, had Jemry had better luck. Now Jemry seeks only to fill a too often empty belly.
  • Elina Ler Mry: Elina is young sea elf, sea elves are a sub group of elves, rather than a different species or race. They have the magical skill of water breathing but are like the land elves in most other ways. With one additional noteworthy difference, they tend to disdain land peoples taste for wearing clothing. When she first meets Niv, there is magic in the air, but its not Niv's,rather it is murderous.
  • Fant-el of Browstan: A dwarf blacksmith, but with more skills than just the shoeing of horses. Niv and Fant first meet, neighter is happy to see the other, but in time they discover they have things they both need from each other.
