P.J. O’Rourke, the former foreign correspondent for Rolling Stone magazine and currently the Mencken Research Fellow at Cato Institute, sums it up humorously in the beginning of his book, Eat the Rich:

I can't remember anything about this book at all, except that it was funny and had nothing whatever to do with its title.
