My favorite Mintzberg book, incredibly helpful to me in arguing against "what you can measure you can manage" nonsense. This is a clarion call for bringing back judgment, discernment, wisdom and intuition back into the business world rather than blindly counting and measuring things simply because we can. Don't count and measure, THINK! Also incredibly helpful with my work on knowledge workers. Mintzberg proves his prowess in this book, even though I can't stand his political and economic...
