i really enjoyed this book, the way it was written you get a clear visual of the scenes.I was suprised having read other books by this author that the leading man in this book was not like her other male characters.
He had the description of a grown sexy man,but he should have been aged around 21 for his maturity.I found his stutter adorable, and liked his detrimination. This book was a very nice enjoyable read overall

This is the first novel I've read by Ann Christopher. She crafts an intriguing story, the title alone is eye-catching, but I just didn't find it as entertaining as it could have been. I thought the tale could have been told in less pages, it was definitley a little wordy, at times, but all and all it was still an interesting read. Found myself putting the novel down at times and having to make myself go back to finish it.

When Alex Greene becomes a laughingstock due to his ex-girlfriend's thinly disguised diss about his "assets" in Dr. Simone Beaupre's romance column, he is determined to get Simone to print a retraction. Simone, however, is immediately put off by Alex's arrogant and demanding nature and refuses to apologize or retract the piece.

Simone's response, and Alex's undeniable attraction to her, sends Alex into a tailspin and he mounts a public campaign of his own in an attempt to force Dr. Beaupre to apologize. Though livid, Simone is also fearful because she is on the verge of going national with a syndicated column and other deals in the works. More than fearing that the deals will be at jeopardy, however, Simone is afraid that Alex will unveil her biggest secret, the one thing that would really jeopardize her career and future.

Alex and Simone soon become locked in a battle of wills. Perhaps the only thing stronger than both of their stubborn wills is the growing attraction between them - one that Simone is determined to fight and one that Alex is doggedly pursing.

Ann Christopher crafts two intriguing characters who are equally entertaining and enthralling. This is a keeper!
