Didn’t Like It

I think this will be my last faerie book. The author is a good storyteller, but I'm not thrilled with the demonology references. I don't like that a Catholic Mass is referred to as an "attempt at white magic", and it refers the darkest black magic book as being written by a pope. Nope, not for me.

Another good story in the series. Not quite as good as the first, but still an easy, enjoyable read.

Better than the first book in most ways. I enjoyed more interaction with Fogarty and Blue seeing as they seem to be the only two with brains. Henry is just a dummy who survives either because of someone else or sheer luck. Pyrgus would much rather pass the reins on to someone else (i.e. his little sister or dead father) than take responsibility. The introduction of the Forest Faerie was wonderful with their amazing hidden home and advanced magic. I hope to see more of them in the next installment.

this, like the first book of this series was okay. not my favorite but it was definately entertaining. a bit more action and some suspense. definately written for the young adult and up audience. some situations are not for younger readers. if you want a quick, fantasy/sci-fi read this one will do.

I love this book Pygrus is an awsome, though a little distracted, emperor elect and Blue is so helpful, though has a bit of an ego. I hope henery and Blue get together and that brimstone doesn't ruin everything by realesing the demons.

The sequel was so much more complex than the prequel, and so much better too! I couldn't put the book down, it was fantastic. It really benefited that there were different stories happening at the same time, and in the end they collided. I loved it!
