“I really enjoyed this first published novel from Brett McBean.
It's set at a mountainside motel in Australia. All the players start showing up and throughout the book you get their backstories on how and why the ended up there. A serial killer is one of the guests, plus some other colorful characters.
Yes I figured out most of the "twists", but that didn't spoil this fun ride into Australia. A great first novel and Brett McBean is someone you should keep your eye on if you enjoy the writing of Richard Laymon who McBean considers a major influence.”
