If you like Max Barry (Syrup, Jennifer Government) then this won't let you down too much. Starts off slow, but when you finally find out what is going on with the thirteenth floor and the top floor of the building, things move much faster. Worth a read if you can open your mind to a different sort of book. It has left me thinking about it a lot longer than many books I read which dissolve in my memory weeks later. This one still lingers.

Funny at parts but unsatisfying on the whole -- a lot like work! Not good when reading for learning experience or escape, at least wasn't for me.
