Characters/People edit see section history

  • Maecha Ruadh mac Art: Maecha is the daughter of the high king of Ireland. She has been raised by him and is considered the heir to the throne of Tara because of matriarchal sovereignty. Maecha is constantly thrown into situations that test her skills as a leader and warrior. Most of the time she succeeds, but she quickly learns that she cannot control everything. She is determined, loyal, and can kick butt!
  • Cairpre mac Art: Cairpre is the younger brother of Maecha. He is easily manipulated and bitter about his life. Queen Deirdre died giving birth to Cairpre and he has never felt a mother's love. Born with a limp, he grew up feeling inferior and felt that people owe him. He wants to rule Tara. He gets the chance when Akir the Fire Lord offers him unlimited power if Cairpre can destroy his sister and get her sword. Cairpre betrays his family and becomes greedy. He's not very likeable.
  • Akir the Fire Lord: Akir is a god who never learned to take responsiblities for his actions. He is angry, bent of revenge and narcissistic. He's a fun character to see develop as he literally gets his body back throughout the story. Witty and handsome, he fools many people into thinking that he is good, but Akir doesn't do anything unless he benefits.
