Ella woke up. The fire had gone out. Where was the maid? Had she fallen back asleep? Should Ella ring for her? Should Ella go wake her up. Ella finally decided to start the fire herself. Even though she was in a palace, she could still start a fire on her own. When the sun finally came up, Ella got ready. She did not wan't to be late for her mean palace life tutor, Miss Bisset. When Ella went to royal genealogy class her teacher, Lord Reston, passed out before her eyes. Then, at lunch everyone stared at her because she dropped some pea soup on the table cloth. After lunch was needlepoint and after that it was finally time to be with the prince.

Her new royal genealogy teacher was Lord Reston's son, Jed Reston. Things flew by after that. When she met with the prince, she realized that she did not love him but she loved Jed. Then after a while she broke the engagement with the prince. Guess what. Madame Bisset put her in the dungeon. then, she dug her way out of the bathroom hole and ran to Jed's hospital camp that he had just opened up. Then, she spent the rest of her life working there as a doctor.
