- Josh: Lead Singer for the band. Creates a lot of problems in the story
- Kallie: Backup guitarist. Josh made the other members allow her to join even though she really can't play because she's pretty and popular
- Tash: Lead guitarist, she has green hair and a rebellious attitude. She also hates that Kallie joined the band
- Josh Cooke: The egomaniac lead singer who only cares about himself and the spotlight
- Ed: A guy from the band. He's always liked Piper, and joins chess club just because she's in it. Extremely caring, and sweet.
- Will: Josh's brother, quiet and enigmatic, bassist in Dumb
