"The Tales of Terror and Mystery" provides an insight to the logical and detailed mind of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in a framework outside of his "Sherlock Holmes" series.

The 'terror' is in the terms relative to the 1800's era of literature. The stories are short and varied and often show a dark side of human nature They depict more suspense than terror, by todays standards.
