Awful. My boss had me read it and it is written from such a money motivated point of view; I don't know how people how follow these guides survive in the market place. There are no motives to helping the customer, only helping yourself and that is not the ethical method to doing business.

If you provide a service or have clients, it is useful.

    An Introduction To Sales

... is what this book should be called. To be honest, I give the book about a 3.5. The book had some good ideas about client relations and personal motivation strategies, but the book was very impersonal. Examples often referred to as 'a salesperson' or 'a client' often seemed disconnected. I'm not sure why he felt he needed to hide the identities of the people in his book, but he did. It's a quick read - could probably read in one sitting of a couple hours. Like I said, it's a good little book for introduction to sales, but it's not worth too much more than that.
