The screenwriter for The Kite Runner and Woverine, this author is hip, young, and fresh. Everything i am not. I also recommend his other novel, City of Thieves.”

The characters in each story were unique--male, female, aging, coming of age, soldiers, actresses, professors, artists--as were the stories and situations. The title story was not my favorite, but I did enjoy "De Composition" and "The Barefoot Girl in Clover."”

I wouldn't recommend this book for anyone under 18. I was able to finish this in a week. I have to give it to the author, each story was different and unique than the one before it. I like his creative style and how descriptive the stories were.”
