“Though nobody at her high school knows it, Jessica is a published author. Her vampire novel, Tiger, Tiger, has just come out under the pen name Ash Night. Now two new students have just arrived in Ramsa, and both want Jessica’s attention. She has no patience with overly friendly Caryn, but she’s instantly drawn to Alex, a self-assured, mysterious boy who seems surprisingly familiar. If Jessica didn’t know better, she’d think Aubrey, the alluring villain from her novel had just sprung to life. That’s impossible, of course; Aubrey is a figment of her imagination. Or is he?

“Jessica Alloda was a regular teenage girl. Even though she had no friends, people stayed away from her, and she had a secret life that only her adoptive-mother knew about. At least thats what she thought. Jessica is also Ash Night an author of a very popular book series. She always thought that what she wrote about was just fiction. One of her characters is Aubrey, she writes all about his past, and the other people, that are known to be his friends, family, and his enemies. She is brought out of her fictional stage when a new kid,Alex, shows up and happens to look exactly like Aubrey, and another new kid Caryn. Caryn is a witch, and Alex really is Aubrey !! Does Jessica find out who they really are in time? Or will she be torn to shreds by her new friend ?
My favorite part is when Jessica is sleeping, because when she's asleep thats when she get's the ideas for her book. Then after a short while of her sleeping she wakes up, and starts typing long after what she has dreamed.Jessica is the one who inspires me the most because various parts through the book , bad things keep happening and no matter what, she always hangs in there and doesn't give up. She always show's imense courage and has something that no one else has. She has a back round check into Aubrey and some of his friends, family and some enemies.”
“OMG!!!!!!! I love this book, no, i freakin' luuuuuuve this author. she has to be my favorite, and she almost rates even higher than Holly Black as one of my favorite authors.”
