Calvin takes his friend Rodney, instead of his sister Trudy, to a magic show. The boys come home thrilled to practice the art of hypnotism. They hypnotize Trudy to think she is a dog... only to find they can't reveserse it. Their day is ruined as they try to fix Trudy before Mama returns. Only when they dump water on her does she snap out of it. Unfortunately, they are caught by Mama. Calvin spends his birthday dinner in his room. Trudy later brings him up something to eat... and suggests that she fakes the whole dog thing.
