“This was such a great book with a wonderful lesson to be learned for all of us! It was about this little boy who went to the same tree, always wanting something from the tree such as an apple, to swing, etc. The boy grew older, and wanted more from the tree, and the boy realized the tree couldn't give him everything he wanted. The boy ended up cutting off the branches so he could make a house, because that is what he needed. In the end the tree gave all that she had to offer, and eventually the boy was left with nothing. This book teaches all of us that we shouldn't always take from other people, without giving in return, and a thank you is always appreciated!”
