OK - a teeny bit painful. Sort of the same idea as "The First Wives' Club." Chick lit for us older chicks.

Easy chic lit read. Good insight into Red Hatters (dis)organisation.

I really liked this book!! I loved the women in that group, they had some problems but they all always stuck together and helped each other! Some were more wild than others, some where quiet (or they thought she was), some had marital problems, some were just plain bored with their marriage and life. They all seemed to end up having great lives. It was a great Beach read!!

Good story .... good camaraderie among the characters .... mostly enjoyed it. If you have trouble reading books that use rather graphic language, you may have some issues with it, but all in all it a good read. Another case where an author felt the need to go for a little bit of shock value to add a little controversy, I suppose. Wasn't really necessary though . . . the story could have stood on its own merit.

Not all of us are ready to be indoctrinated into the Red Hat Clubs and if not we can be Pink Hatters. Nothing compares to the lifelong friendships that never fail. Each one is their own person and come to rely on one another each at their time. If I say anymore, it will ruin the whole story. Female bonding at its best!

To me this was an enjoyable but not outstanding book. The characters, five "Southern Sisters" were one-dimensional. The friendship thing is one I have seen before, and better done. The revenge against the errant husbands was better portrayed in The First Wives Club. Still I enjoyed this slight but cute book.

This book made me want to be a Red Hat when I grow up. Though I'm in my 30's, I found this book reminded me of my group of best friends in High School...and when I finished the book I immediately emailed them all and told them they had to read it. I've never done that before. It touched on a central nerve of women's relationships and friendships like few books do.
