“Fantastic. Definitely my favourite of the three so far and one of my favourite mysteries overall. Full of twists, Castle pulls no punches and provides us with what I feel is some terrific slam bang action.”

“For some reason my favorite part is always the acknowledgments page. I wasn't as happy with this one. There is a quote: "A writer in his novel should be like God in the universe: present everywhere and visible nowhere." And the writer of this novel is visible. He should probably stick to TV writing (obviously he's fabulous at that).”

“Fans of the show "Castle" will enjoy this latest story about the fictional character Nikki Heat mentioned on the show.

A cold wave has settled over New York City. Nikki and her crew are called out in the murder of a priest. As Nikki begins to dig into the case, she finds many road blocks put in her way. As Nikki works her way through the maze of clues she finds herself a target of a killer. How will this work out? Will Nikki find the killer or will she be killed?”

“My least favorite of the three novels that track along with the TV show Castle, this novel delivers a decent story but is a bit weak in terms of character development. Nikki and Rook team up to find the link between the murder of a priest and the attempted murder of a male stripper. With many threads to follow and unexpected turns, the story definitely kept my interest. ”

“Richard Castle never lets me down. He always writes a keep you on your toes who done it. I love the character development and the plot line of this story. However I will say that even though it has a different story line from the show, it is a nice compliment to the books, it allows me to picture the characters in real life. This book had me guessing to the very end. ”
