- Trina: The young black girl with bipolar disorder. 17 yrs old. Tips over into mania when she snokes pot, and then becomes paranoid, telling her mother she is not her real mother, and very antagonistic.
- Brad: Add a description of this character.
- Clyde: Assistant to Brad
- Angelica: Daughter of Bethany, who told Keri about the program and wanted her and Trina to go with them.
- Jean: "Earth Mother" Wife of and hostess of the first stop they made on the "Underground Railroad" to get the girls to their ultimate destination.
- Bethany: Mother of Angelica. Loudmouth, appears to be a strong, devil-may-care type of person, but falls to pieces when her daughter disappears once again.
- Adriana: A young girl who has been in prostitution, and now work for Keri at the Good as New shop.
- Frances: Heavyset black girl who takes care of the shop while Keri is away, and has amazing common sense and discipline.
