When Dinah moves into her new home to be fostered by the Hunter family, one of her foster brothers, Lloyd, takes an immediate dislike to her. Harvey, the younger brother, seems calmer and doesn't seem to worry at all about Dinah moving in. She arrives at her new school and immediately realizes there is something fishy going on.
