5th graders and up.
review: This sometimes painfully truthful book is written from the perspective of two very different twelve year olds who are struggling with strained family relationships. In the end, they both have to come to terms with themselves and what makes them who they are. There is no sugar coating when it comes to interactions with both family members and peers. However, you do feel hopeful that the two main characters will find a way to be true to themselves and each other.
