“Great read. High energy (duh). Really cranked through this one (aka, skimmed it).”

I'm reading this out of fairness after reading Nicholas Maier's book Trading with the Enemy. Cramer is a fascinating man, but he does not always see the big picture, ala Nouriel Roubini, on the economy.”

Cramer, a well-known man on Wall Street. In this book, Cramer expands on a time of his life where he claims he was a "street addict" or simply a man addicted to trading on Wall Street. Cramer explains how he started out as a businessman, telling us how when he was younger he used to read the business section in the local newspaper to when he had his own hedge fund where he became a "street addict." Besides talking about himself, Cramer explains what was going on 70's and 80's when he was on top of his game; how people in his business acted and how they were affected. Cramer shows us how even though Wall Street will make you money, it can change you, inside-out. Cramer leaves with messages, his most important: don't get into this business. I enjoyed this book because it explained a lot about people on Wall Street and how money is a dangerous thing. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in economics or anything Wall Street-related. ”

What an animal. You want to be successful? Then follow Jim Cramer and only sleep 4 hours a night while working 19 and spending 1 hour with your family.”

Pretty interesting to read about how hard he works/worked to get to where he is now. If you spend some time online though you will come across people like Joseph Nocera, and Joseph Parnes would have gone out of their way to show how following exactly the opposite of Cramer's advice will lead to higher returns. He moved markets by having access to CEO's and seeing what they thought of the next quarter etc... a lot of info that technically will not be 'inside info' but info that the regular investor does/cannot access. He went with what was hot from 9am and dropped it by 11am. Dumped hot stocks to the 'market gods' ? Some fundamental analysis but mostly technical.”
