“Pearl Cleage is one of the greatest writers of our time. No one can dispute that. From plays like "Blues for an Alabama Sky" to books like Baby Brother's Blues...she can light up a page and spark your imagination. I liked Babylon Sisters...it's definitely not her strongest work.

Try What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day, Some Things I Never Thought I'd Do and Baby Brother's Blues which gets 10 stars from me - each!
Also remember some of the books are sequels and it helps to read them in order! Happy Reading!

“ALL I can say is ONE HECK OF A BOOK!!! How a good idea turned crazy. One of the funniest features in the book is when the heroine's daughter getting tired of not knowing who her daddy is got her old diaries and contacted all the men she was involved with causing some havoc, but come to find out none of them were. LOL] but Pearl Cleage can hold your interest and keep it there until the last page and beyond”
