This book caught my attention by its title and author. This book was such fun to read. Have you ever wanted to sue your parents? Sounds familiar? I know when you're fourteen years old, that is one option that may have entered your mind! This book is about Lauren, her family-dad-mom-sisters and new boyfriend, Zach. Lauren feels that she has no rights whatsoever and decides to take the class, "Law for Children and Young People," where she meets Zach, an eight grader (she's ninth) and they decide to date. (How can she? younger guy!) Lauren starts to realize that there are many ways to express yourself because even at fourteen she has "rights." Read this book to find the ways that Lauren learned how to "stand up for her rights."This book will hit home when you realize that you're not the only teenager that feels the way Lauren does! MUST READ!

Can you sue your parents for malpractice is a about a fourteen year old girl who has a very conservative family. Lauren's father is a hard working man who believes men make the money. woman stay home and work with the kids. Lauren is just attempting to gain some freedom with very little result. Soon everything becomes a battle such as Lauren got her ears pierced. Lauren like a classic teen has a love in trust named Zack. Zack is an 8th grader and Lauren is a 9th grater.if she goes out with him then she will be made fun of. what will Lauren do? will she go out with the guy she likes but will be made fun of for or will she go out with her last boy friend bobby who has a car and is popular? what will Lauren do? Just have to read it to know...
