The movie comes out in 10 days. I've only seen the trailer, but from that, it looks pretty close to the book.
But it appears to be set in a different time period. (The fifties, I think.) It's been a while since I read the book, but if I remember correctly it's set in present day, right?

I liked this book immensely, because it mirrors real life. We often judge people wrongly and based on faulty information. You see two families change drastically in the way the view their success. I like the double perspective as it shows that we do not always see the exact same situation the same. I think it was great to see such a strong female character and a male character who becomes strong.
