  • leloni strayhorn: I like this book because she make the book come alive. What i'm saying is she makes you feel like you are in the book yourself, like when she stopped at one place she made you feel like you were there when she was playing and when she was righting the store about herself. I also liked when she was in the wagons of the trains and like when her friend go caught on fire and her mother had to hit her with a broom.I also liked the book when she told you about her life. When she wrote her diary she would tell you every thing liked how she liked and why she liked that person and my favorite was the way she would have some memorable times like the one with the girl how caught on fire. That is why I like this book so much.
