I looooove inspector Motalbano. The stories are great. Set in Sicily, they have action, humor, dangerous mobsters, the works. The crime descriptions aren't grotesque or overly bloody, and the pace of the investigation is fast and intriguing. Ran into the first book by chance and got addicted...
