I loved this book. Part of my absolute pleasure in reading the novel was immersing myself in Guterson's masterful style once again. The other, of course, was the mythically woven story of Ben Givens's journey to find himself again. One of the best books I've read in a while.

    So far, this is my favorite book by Guterson. It was the first I read and I loved the premise and the style of writing in it. It was easy to read and hard to put down.
