Marion Zimmer Bradley tells the story of Arthur from a completely different perspective- that of the women behind the men. I loved it. This is by far her best book.

Sort of like a collaborative rewrite of the Arthur legend by Starhawk and Gloria Steinem.

Marion Zimmer Bradley's detailed work of the Arthurian legend from the point of view of Morgana of the Faeries ie Morgan Le Fay as most people know her. A brilliant read and finely detailed.

My favorite modern King Arthur story, this novel is a retelling of the standard version told from the viewpoint of Morgan Le Fay, the traditional villain of the saga. In Bradley's hands, the story becomes a struggle between paganism and Christianity and a fight for true love. If you are a King Arthur fan, I highly recommend this novel.

This was a hard book to read and it took forever and it was weird, creepy weird. I would not read it again or another in the series.

At the time when I read this it was required for me to read this. It is a very long read. So for people who don't like long drug out story lines like myself then don't read this. I appreciated for what it was FICTION! Any 12 year old who likes dungons and dragons would appreciate it alot more.
