This is absolutely dreadful. The ending made me want to throw the book into the fire. I usually love Agatha Christie but this novel is terrible.

My first time reading an Agatha Christie and I adored it! I'll now have to buy all the others I see at car boot sales!

In death as in life, Rosemary Barton still casts a shadow over the lives of six persons... A dark and intense novel, with immense psychological depth. Truly representative of Christie's forte. One of her best

The plot seem to drag a bit and I thought this one did not live to the Agatha Christie's repute. But I changed my mind half way through.A great plot which keeps you glued to the book and guessing untill the last moment.

I think I read this before as Sparkling Cyanide (it's Brittish title) and I'm fairly sure I saw part of a TV adapation (with Poirot inserted, I think) but I still had the wrong murderer. There were a few loose ends and I didn't totally buy the 'circular table' argument but it was highly enjoyable anyway.

This book is totally cool! Imagine a murder on a birthday.A year later , another murder on the same day? Numerous murders one after the other, this book really gives you goosebumps!
