“This book made me think about why kids are cutting themselves from their point of view instead of mine. I like the way Patricia McCormack uses 2nd person point of view to really get inside Callie's head and let you know what she is thinking. It is a quick read and would be a valuable read to anyone who works with teenagers --if they are willing to open their mind a little and look at things in a new light.”

“Cut was about a girl who cut herself. She didn't know why she did it herself, until she was boxed up, and sealed into a mental institution. Unable to speak, she learned she was not the only one with a problem. But to get help, she needed to talk in able to figure out what was wrong with her. Towards the end she breaks through. Callie knew she needed to stay there in order to get better, which is what she wanted.”
