A lot of tragedy, but oddly lighter than the rest of the series. A lot of things come to light, that of course no one sees coming. Good book, can't wait to read the last one. ”

I guess I have to be harsh on this one. This wasn't even a story. There was no problem or anything building up to that. There just seemed to be situations that happened and they talked their way through them or they were just blown off like it didn't matter. The characters were not developed at all and I'm still trying to figure out where the suspense in this book is. Is it Dawn dealing with her obsessed brother, or her jealous sister that threatens her and beats her until she miscarries her baby? Or is it finding Dawn's husband's sister and finding she has behavioral issues such as stealing and sexual curiosities at the age of 10.
There never seemed to be any purpose to this story except that you are being informed of the completely dysfunctional lives of the Cutlers and Longchamps'. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this book because it was just not worth the time. It kinda reminded me of the stories I would write when I was about 12 or 13. That's how undeveloped this story is!

“This book had absolutely no format, not character forming, no problems to work out. It was just basically the telling of a dysfunctional family's issues and sins. No suspense and I really had no remorse for anyone in the book.”
