“They made a movie based on this called Kandukonden kandukonden....i read the book after watching the movie.....and its typical jane austen!! very nice :) romantic but sad!”

I felt it started slow, perhaps because of that baggage but once I realized she was writing with humor and irony and the more I understood of the era, the more I began to appreciate the story. I lost myself in it in the last half of the book. ”
