Didn’t Like It“Nope still no where near the original - struggled through this one. Some parts showed the old brilliance but the flashes of brilliance were so few and far between it was not worth it in the end.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Frank Herbert's Dune series is one of the most amazing and enduring of the sci-fi world. While there are anti homosexual undertones his over all message of eco conscientiousness quickly overshadows it without being preachy. I'm also a fan of his rich writing style especially as it pertains to his female characters. They always seem to be a driving force in his books.
