“Feehan, in my mind, translates into vampire. I had tired of her Dark series and was therefore happy to see a new series featuring a group of magical sisters. I reviewed this one for AAR in 2005 and gave it a B+ grade and rated it Hot. "When I see Christine Feehan’s name, I immediately think of her Carpathian Dark series. Strongly attracted to her writing, I read the first four Dark books but found I had little stomach for the blood, fangs, and extreme violence to finish the series. Aware...”
