“I also love this series... Honestly, Dune is the best noel I have read.. And I'd say it's a plus for Frank Herbert the fact that he started the first volume in 1966!! and I've still not found another book that's better than his work. I am curious though, what other books do Dune fans like? When we all admire a certain thing, it's most probably that we all share more or less the same taste in books. “when i was young i've heared that Dune was the end all be all of Sci-Fi. it wasn't Starwars, and since they spent 21 books about the Yuuzhan Vong, it never will. i ran into House Harkonnen and saw my chance to disprove that notion. startrek wasn't the greatest sci-fi of all time, maybe it isn't Dune. after reading this book i was thankful i had the last book of the prequel trilogy (i didn't get house atreides). to date i've got nearly all Dune books and am avidly waiting for Sandworms of Dune to reach our country so i can finish reading Hunters of Dune”
