“Well, I hate to say this about a Ludlum book, but this wasn't that great.. It dragged in places. The dialogue was confusing because a lot of it didn't mention who was saying what and just continued that way for a few paragraphs. This made me re-read quite a bit. The story wasn't really unputdownable. In fact for a Ludlum, it was downright slow. Carlos as a character becomes quite unpredictable, behaving brilliant in places and deranged in others. Parts of it were interesting and part of the charm is seeing who finally wins in the Bourne-Carlos feud. An average read.
Plot Summary: Jason Bourne is sucked back into the shadowy world of his past as a figurehead from Medusa seeks to take him out. Simultaneously, his arch enemy, Carlos wants his head. The plot takes Bourne from the Caribbean to Paris to Moscow. All in search of the final battle with the Jackal.”
