My favorite book to movie translation ever. Why? Because the makers of the movie realized that you could not possibly ever take a book that incredibly packed and amazing into a movie. So they took the original premise of a guy floating in the water with no name being tracked by the government, and went a completely different direction with it. If you are expecting the movie, you won't get it. You do, however, get one of the most intense rides of your literary life.

Don't read the book expecting what you saw in the movie. There is much, much more to the book than the movie. And the book is much better than the movie. All three of the books: Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum are much better than the movies.

The novel so much better than the movie that had all the high-tech playthings that the book did not have. This was a thrilling read. Don't watch the movie, READ THE BOOK.

As usual, this book is far better than its movie adaptation. The best feature is the complexity of the plot. Things are never so simple as movies make them out to be. Also, I'm relieved that Marie is not just a wanderer picked up along the way; though she's still somewhat weak and dumb about just what goes on.
